United print. signs. graphics. is a participating print sponsor for this year’s Artist Mythos 2017 gallery and concert series in Tacoma, with events taking place May 18-20 and a closing night show on Saturday, May 27. Additional sponsors include Feast Arts Center, Artist and Craftsman Supply (Tacoma) and Spaceworks Tacoma.
Los Angeles/Seattle-based curator Zachary Sofia has partnered with three galleries – The Fulcrum Gallery, Feast Arts Center and The Tacoma Arts Community Center – focusing efforts in the Hilltop neighborhood in Tacoma. The series will showcase local artist Jeremy Gregory in various mediums including puppets and paintings, along 20 other exciting underground, fantastic and pop surrealist artists.
United has been a longtime advocate and printing resource for local artists, and welcomed the opportunity to work with artist series curator Sofia in supplying print marketing collateral for promotion, including posters, postcards, and special cut vinyl pieces for windows and walls at participating venues. Sofia came to United because he felt our community connection was one that aligned with his vision. “United PSG has historically been very supportive of the local arts community. They have worked with me on many of my other projects both here and in Seattle including the Seattle Myths and Fables Legends exhibition in SoDo and the Between Heaven and Hell-boy exhibition in Greenwood,” said Sofia.
He added, “It is always a pleasure working with community businesses and the venues when the common goal is to bring the arts community together in the greater Puget Sound area.”
